Wie is Jon Olsson
Van de X Games naar de garage
Jon werd in 1982 geboren in Mora, ruilde op zijn zestiende het alpineskiën in voor freeskiën en won goud op de Winter X Games. Tegenwoordig bouwt hij auto's, een skipark en een kartbaan bij zijn huis in Zweden, en deelt hij zijn projecten met ruim 1,5 miljoen abonnees op YouTube.

Alcantara van hemelbekleding tot stuur
Zijn huidige project is een Audi RS6 met meer dan 1.000 pk. De hemelbekleding en het stuur zijn uitgevoerd in Alcantara, hetzelfde officieel gelicentieerde Italiaanse materiaal als zijn hoesje. “Dat is het eerste wat ik in elke auto doe”, zegt hij.

“The way they feel makes me feel like I'm holding a nice Alcantara steering wheel. And I guess that's why I fell in love.”
“My favorite place to be in the entire world is behind the wheel of a sick car, feeling this Alcantara. Then if I have to pick up my phone, I want that to be Alcantara as well.”
“If I want Alcantara in my car, this is probably like a 50,000 euro rebuild of the interior. Whereas this Alcantara comes a lot cheaper, but still the same feel.”
